Ad-hoc consulting

The Steinbeis Foundation program of ad-hoc consulting services makes it possible for small and medium-sized companies to gain access to technology and know-how at the source. The program comes under the auspices of the Steinbeis consulting network – Steinbeis Beratungszentren GmbH. Projects aim to provide:

  • Access to the latest scientific insights and technology

  • Quick access to the Steinbeis specialist network

  • Comprehensive consulting, covering

    • Technology, organizational and market issues
    • Information on new products, technologies and processes

Modus operandi

Ad-hoc consulting projects can be applied for by a company, chamber of commerce representatives, the L-Bank, economic development bodies, or the manager of a Steinbeis company. The important thing for us to know is the type of consulting needed or the topic.

Criteria that ad-hoc consulting should fulfill:

  1. The company must be based in Baden-Württemberg
  2. Company turnover in the previous year must not exceed 100 million euros
  3. Only one consulting project per company per year
  4. The project is submitted, chosen and commissioned by Steinbeis
  5. ad-hoc consulting is free of charge for companies

How it works

  • A proposal is submitted to Steinbeis with a short description of the problem

  • Steinbeis considers project suitability and if necessary issues the brief

  • a Steinbeis consultant conducts the ad-hoc consulting project

  • The consultant sends a project resumé to Steinbeis

  • Steinbeis settles the account with the consultant. Lump sum consulting fee of 200 euros including travel costs (after documented ad-hoc consulting)
