Life-long learning has turned into a key success factor, not just for people working in big corporations, but also for people such as sole traders. The Steinbeis Network provides access to knowledge and methodology through a series of training and employee development programs, with one overall aim in mind: the development of individual competencies.

We see knowledge as the raw material of education. These days, without knowledge no business can be guaranteed to succeed in the long term. For this reason, the Steinbeis Network offers companies and employees a variety of seminars, workshops and in-house training programs on subjects as diverse as management, consulting, internationalization, new media and technologies, healthcare and finance. These programs cover off the key areas of business and technology.

The Steinbeis University Berlin (SHB) is a private university offering students the opportunity to work together with their sponsoring company on live projects to be implemented within the company. As part of the “project competence degree”, both parties benefit from long-term knowledge and skill gains. The SHB program ranges from certified training courses to State-approved bachelor and master degrees. As part of the “project competence doctorate” program, the university also conducts independent research tailored to the needs of the customer. More than 2500 students are currently enrolled on SHB programs.
